Brief Introduction of JINPAT Large Pancake Slip Ring
LPK Pancake Series Slip Ring is a solution specially provided for the equipment with limited axial space. Its ring is arranged on the same horizontal plane in a concentric way, which greatly saves the height space. This series is divided into an integrated pancake slip ring and a separate pancake slip ring. The integrated pancake slip rings provide vias of different size; the separate pancake slip ring consists of a separate rotor and a stator to meet more stringent height requirements, and can be installed by the customer according to the application environment.
JINPAT standard pancake slip rings are basically small products, and are necessary rotating conductive joints for some miniature electrical systems with narrow axial space.JINPAT large pancake slip rings are basically customized products with large through-hole structure. Due to the large aperture in the middle, this type of large pancake slip ring basically has no signal transmission capability. Instead, the number of power channels and the capacity of the current transmitted by each channel are adjusted according to the power requirements of the application terminal.
The outer diameter of large pancake slip ring is usually more than one meter, which is often used in stacker, stacker reclaimer, tank turret, CT and other equipment. The large pancake slip ring that applied to the first two kinds of civil equipment can be determined whether it is necessary to increase the shell according to the usage scenario of the equipment, so that it has a certain degree of protection. The large pancake slip ring used in the tank turret is generally a separate structure without protection grade, because the pancake slip ring is generally installed inside the turret, and the tank shell has strong protection ability. The pancake slip ring used in CT, a high-end medical equipment in a constant temperature and humidity indoor environment, also does not need a shell. It only needs to meet the power transmission requirements of the CT rotating end.
