Due to the transmission of large power, the high current slip ring will basically adopt the carbon brush empty frame structure. However, the characteristics of this structure restrict the types of signals that could be transmitted. Therefore, when the vast majority of signal paths need to be integrated, a new signal module needs to be integrated outside the high current slip ring module. In the large current slip ring of JINPAT Electronics, most of the them are designed separately from the large current module and weak current signal module. In the weak current module, there are mostly some current paths below 50A, plus other ordinary weak current signals, such as control signal, CAN signal, Ethernet signal, etc.
Compared with control signals, CAN signals and other signals, Ethernet signals in the slip ring are slightly different, because Gigabit networks and 100m networks are slightly different in some technical details. For example, in the slip ring, 100M networks only need 4 wires to transmit, while Gigabit networks need 8 wires. If these two Ethernet signals are integrated into a slip ring at the same time or with other incoming signals, shielding measures need to be taken between different signal paths, such as adding shielding wires or directly vacating a shielding ring.

Its high current slip ring module has three types: 8 circuits of 100A, 4 circuits of 80A and 4 circuits of 50A, with a total of 16 circuits. The weak current module is composed of 1 circuit of 100M Ethernet signal, 9 circuits of 20A and 4 circuits of 10A. In order to avoid the possible interference of current to Ethernet signal, shielded wire is added between each signal circuit and current loop of the module.
Complexity of products do not depend on the numbers of circuits. To some extents, JINPAT Electronics' other high current slip ring integrating optical fiber slip ring is a relatively complex product. Its model is LPA000-03850-03150-02100-01PE-4005-05E2-10S-FO01. Similarly, the power ring module of the high current slip ring of this model integrates three different sizes of circuits, which are 850A, 150A and 100A with a total of 8 circuits. In addition to that, it also has 1 grounding path. The weak current module of the high current slip ring is composed of 40 circuits of 5A, 5 circuits of 100M Ethernet signals and 10 circuits of other weak current signals.
