Design and Application of Slip Ring in Rotary Canning Machine System

One of the significant advantages of capping machines for automatic, semi-automatic and manual capping equipment is the consistency of capping activity. What's the essence of continuous topping with a spinner? Think about buying a bottled juice at your favorite supermarket. Now assuming four of those caps aren't screwed on, when you get to your destination, you'll find juice all over the vehicle. Also, you realize that you need a pair of pliers to open the remaining bottle.

I'm sure you'll buy another brand of juice next time you shop. So while many people don't think about the consistency that capping equipment brings, it can have a big impact on repeat events.

a) Type of capping machine

1) Automatic capping equipment

Automatic capping equipment generally provides the greatest consistency compared to other machines. Consistency is achieved by applying an automatic cap delivery method and easy cap modification (done before the capping process begins).

JINPAT technology automatic capping equipment utilizes capping lifts and sorting bowls to supply capping and ensure they are properly positioned on all bottles passing through the machine. Incorrectly oriented caps are excluded and sent to sorting equipment for reorientation.

When the lids are placed on the containers, the capping device seals them with almost the same rotational force on each container. Modifications vary depending on the type of capping device used, but virtually all proper and routine adjustments involve turning a knob or button. Automatic capping systems are known for their high consistency and speed.

2) Semi-automatic capping system

Most semi-automatic capping equipment operates in the same way as automatic capping systems. The main difference is the lack of a way to automatically supply the cap. Instead of using cap lifters and cap sorting bowls, semi-automatic capping machines manually place caps on containers before starting the packaging process.

Although the caps are placed manually, these machines maintain the consistency of the force applied to the caps and achieve repeated sealing as the container moves along the chain. Some semi-automatic capping machines resemble desktop machines, while others have portable frames. Semi-automatic cappers still offer high speed and consistency because they eliminate the process of manually tightening each cap and bottle.

3) Manual capping machine

JINPAT Technology can also use manual capping machines to achieve a consistent capping process. A worker in a manual capper places the cap on the container and then holds the capper over the cap. Typically, a trigger or pressure is used to stimulate the capping machine and tighten the cap for a consistent seal.

The main advantage of a manual capper is consistent delivery throughout the process. The speed of this type of capper may not be high, but it depends on the capabilities and number of operators involved. However, getting a solid capping process leads to repeat purchases and improves product reputation.

Consistent caps are critical in liquid packaging activities. Tailored for each unique capping application, JINPAT's rotary unions provide bottlers and the industry with an easy-to-integrate, reliable and cost-effective solution that minimizes maintenance costs for high-performance applications.
